Wash Your Face

You should wash your face with cool water before going to bed at night, immediately after waking up in morning and throughout in the day. In the daytime, you face gets exposed to dirt, dust particles, polluted air and other bacterias from your hands. You might use makeup in a daytime. Hence it’s important to wash your face properly and cleanse it nutritive cleanser or toner. Never go to bed with makeup on. After you wake up in the morning, you should wash you face again. In night’s sleep your face may release some oil and sweat which may cause bacteria on the skin. Your face may get in touch with pillow, bed sheet and your own hair which may get more bacterias on your face skin. Hence cleansing your face in morning is very important. You may use cleanser and toner of your choice. In daytime, wash your face to keep your face skin hydrated, moisturized and fresh. Washing your face with warm water will open your pores, then cleans it with cleanser and finally wash your face with cool water to close your pores. By this way washing your face will keep your facial skin clean, clear, hydrated, moisturized and healthy.

Keep Your Hands Clean

Sounds strange! But true. People often wash their face, touch their face several times in a day for various causes and all such causes are not avoidable. So, you can’t stop your hands from touching your face skin, but you can certainly keep your hands clean. Dirt and bacteria on your hands may get in touch with you face and may cause breakouts and other infections.

Protect Your Skin

Your skin will need protection from sun rays, pollution, heat, wind, dust and dirt. To start with sun, you should wear sunscreen whenever you go out in sun. Also use lip balm or chapstick with SPF 15 or more. Keep your skin moisturized throughout the day. Cover your skin when environment is not too friendly. Wear hat, full sleeve shirts and cover maximum of your body when you go out in sun, heat and wind. Use umbrella to protect your from rain and sun rays. After coming back home, first thing you should do is to clean your face by washing it with cool water and cleansing with cleanser or toner.

Caring – Moisturizing, Cleansing & Toning

I personally think this is the most important thing for having beautiful skin. At home I would recommend to take proper care by following simple tips for skin care. Don’t let your skin remain dry for long time. After taking a bath or washing your face, your should moisturize yourself properly. Daily cleansing and toning is equally important. You should also use steam for cleansing, take steam for 5 minutes and clean your skin, this will work well because steam will open your pores and clean all dirt and dust particles from inside your pores. Don’t forget to wash your face with cool water before you go to bed as it will close your pores. Also don’t experiment any cosmetic products on your skin and rely more on herbal and home made products. Exfoliating your skin is equally important to remove dead skin cells. You should exfoliate your skin once a week.

Exercise & Sweat It Out

Exercise is good for overall body health, fitness, strength and stamina. But it will do wonders for your skin too. Exercising will ensure proper blood circulation in your body and skin, hence it will clean your skin from inside and keep it healthy. Sweating will clean your skin from inside and throw out any dust particles, dirt, oil and impurities from your skin. It will make your skin glowing. I am adding this advice to this list by my personal experience. Don’t know but i sweat more than usual but i found my skin glowing at any time of the day.

Food & Diet

Your skin will reflect what you eat and how you live. So it’s important to keep your diet healthy and full of vitamins, proteins and minerals. Add fresh fruits and raw vegetables in your meals and snacks. Drink plenty of water, at least 10 to 12 glasses in a day. Stay away from bad habits like smoking or drinking alcohol. Eat raw nuts whenever you are hungry. Cut down sugar and oily foods from your diet. Eat fiber rick and omega 3 fatty acid food in your meals.

Healthy & Stress Free Lifestyle

Living healthy lifestyle is equally important to keep your skin glowing all the way. Keep away stress as it will cause dark circles under eyes and wrinkles. Stress will stimulate aging process and skin will get premature aging. Get plenty of sleep to stay young and healthy. Getting enough sleep will have positive impact on your skin.

Don’t Harm Your Skin

If you have pimples on your face skin, do not pick it with your hands. Consult your dermatologist and get it treated medically. Also do not rub your skin or eyes harshly. Scratching your facial skin to get rid of irritation is not the right thing. It will cause damage to your skin.
