Beware of Brushes If You’ve Curls
If you have curly hair then you’ve got high probability of your hair getting dry, brittle, broken and damaged because curly hair has increased friction with each other hence in any normal activities it keep damaging themselved. So you should take special care of your curly hair. Instead of using comb or brush you should use pick gently to keep your hair looking better without making much damage to it. Furthermore you should use conditioners with polymers to keep your hair smooth, soft and manageable. I would reccomend any conditioner which contains polyvinylpyrrolidone. Don’t run after products like flat irons and relaxers to repair and straight your curly hair, rather than making your hair beautiful these products will make more damage. So the best policy to keep natural look for curly hair, take it as blessing, it’s a god gifted style so stick to it.
Stay Away from Hair Damaging Styles
Hair styles are good for adding more charm and style to your personality. But if you go crazy after hair styling without thinking about your hair then certain hair style can make parmenant damage to your hair. Some hair style like tight ponytails and braids can break off hair and make damage to hair follicle. Even if you wear extensions then you should’t use if more than three months. Also note that when your hair are wet, there are higher probability of getting it damaged, so avoid doing any hairstyles when your hair are wet. Let it dry naturally before starting any hair styles.
Don’t Run After Brands
Choosing the right product for your hair is as important as protecting your hair from getting damaged. Because a wrong product can make a damage and wash away all your effort you have made on hair care. Usually people go crazy after very expensive brands after seeing commercials on television or magazine. But the fact is that when Consumer Reports tested products on 1700 ponytail samples, they found that the very expensive shampoos didn’t do better than cheaper ones. This holds true for any consumer product that expensive product doesn’t mean a good product. So, you should be a aware and educated consumer and choose your products wisely.
Redhead Bounce
The fullness of your hair comes from your genes, and your styling technique. Natural redheads have thicker hair, while blondes have the thinnest but greatest number of hairs. Luckily, you can enhance your hair’s volume whatever its color. Use a leave-in conditioner or mousse and dry the root area first. If your hair is very fine, use a low-heat setting when drying, curling, or straightening.
Neutralize Frizz in Winter
Humidity gets the rap for causing frizzy bad hair days. But there’s more static electricity in low humidity. This means frizz can also fly in winter months and in the desert climates of the Southwest. You should use conditioner to neutralize the static electricity. Shampoos that are pH-balanced also can calm the frizz of chemically treated hair.
