Looking back at the success of Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2 this should be a big hit for Samsung Mobile.

However we should not forget the failure of Samsung Galaxy Camera phone concept. But the Galaxy S series has always excited techies around the globe. And this should be a huge threat to market share of Apple iPhone 5 market share.

The rumors were true that I shared about Samsung Galaxy S4 in December last year, now the news is getting confirmed that Samsung Galaxy S4 is releasing on March 14^th, 2013. This came out as a surprise when company sent invitations to press members.

The news broke out on all major news sites including ABC News, Sky News, Forbes and CNN. Following is the first speculated picture of Samsung Galaxy S4.

This announcement came when Samsung Galaxy S3 and Samsung Galaxy Note 2 are performing extremely well in market and getting a huge share of market. Feature and Performance wise these are the best in class smartphones compared to it’s competitors. But right now I am not much equipped to comment on Samsung Galaxy S4. But considering the trend there should be something more exciting in S4 and S3 and Note 2 came with many surprises and cool features.

Here are so called leaked specifications of Samsung Galaxy S4

1. Samsung Galaxy S4 will have 5 inch full HD 1080 P display which will be a super AMOLED display with a pixel density of 441 ppi

2. It will have Exynos 5 octacore processor clocking at 2 Ghz

3. The battery life would be much higher up to 3500 mah to support this octa core processor

4. It will have 2 GB RAM, with storage options of 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB with an additional surprise of 128 GB

5. Samsung Galaxy S4 is speculated to have smartwatch called Altius (picture below) which will compete the speculated iWatch concept from Apple

6. It will have 13 MP main camera and 2 MP front camera

7. As an answer to Nokia Lumia 920, S4 too will have wireless charging docks

8. It will have Android Jellybean 4.2 OS and new touchwiz user interface and a Wifiac

Apart from all these features, there are chances that Samsung may come up with a strong gorilla glass, water proof technology and more stronger body in Galaxy S4.
