Stress is dangerous and great hazard to your mental as well as physical health. Stress can be relieved or prevented by certain lifestyle habits, some changes in your diet, developing different attitude towards life and changing your thinking process. But the big question comes up is drafting a high level strategy to manage the stress by combining all of these.
I have my unique approach to cope with Stress which I have shared in my earlier post. Stress can be relieved by developing proper eating habits and diet plan. Certain Foods are really helpful in beating stress. Stress can be a more problematic for obese or fat people as they will have different eating routing and different food, though they too have a healthy choice of food items with certain low calories food to beat the stress.
You might have learnt from life that you cannot completely eradicate stress from your life. If not, then better you adapt to this truth as quickly as possible. So the point here is to prepare yourself for stressful situations. For that you have to change your personality, your attitude, your habits and the way you think or react to the situation in your life. So focus on these changes in your attitude and thinking process
These are 15 golden rules to manage stress effectively.
1 – Better be yourself forever. Indulge in things which make you happy. Don’t hesitate to say no or oppose to the situation which you dislike.
2 – Cross all boundaries, talk with more people, have more friends and spend more and more time with people. Spend more time with people where you find happiness and stay away from people who make you frustrated, sad, nervous and irritated.
3 – Don’t stick to routine life; give a surprise of happiness to yourself. Take a break and go for vacation, do a thing which makes you happy.
4 – Express yourself honestly at any cost. This is most important. Any unexpressed feeling will cause frustration, anxiety and stress.
5 – Always look at positive side of the situation. Believe in the fact that life is combination of good and bad things; you can’t get only good things in life forever. But you can always develop attitude to look at good side of bad things.
6 – Spend time with yourself. Talk to yourself about mistakes you made in past, what you are going to do tomorrow and in future.
7 – Set the right targets for yourself; don’t try to achieve which is not achievable. Don’t waste your energy on things which are beyond your control.
8 – Noting is personal in this world. Learn to forgive others, learn to love others. Don’t know about others but this will pump lots of happiness and positivity in your life.
9 – Share your good and bad feeling with your close pals. Sharing is the best way to relieve stress. Remember sharing happiness will multiply it and sharing problems will divide it. So share it to get rid of it.
10 – Be happy and humorous. Keep smiling and develop a good sense of humor.
11 – Eat healthy diet and especially food which help you to fight stress.
12 – Keep yourself away from unhealthy habits like smoking, drinking and overeating.
13 – Don’t spend too much time on computers, television or mobile phones. You might have heard about smartphone addition.
14 – Have proper and balanced sleep. Too less sleep or too much sleep is dangerous in long run.
15 – Develop healthy relaxation habits. Practice yoga, exercise and indulge yourself in sporting activities.
