Since January 9, 2007 when legendary Steve Jobs unveiled first iPhone with over 200 different patents and was the first ever smart phone with no hard keypad for dialing. Since then iPhone is a brand for fans rather than “just a phone”.

Anyone can recall similar happenings in past way back in June 2010 when AT&T temporarily stopped accepting iPhone 4 pre orders as iPhone 3GS demand was 10 times higher than the supply. The same was cited in reports from German Telekom.

In the similar lines AT&T website crashed due to extremely high number of online pre-orders on website and that created panic for Apple. At that time Apple reported that 600,000 iPhone 4 were pre-ordered in a single day and that was record breaking number of pre-orders Apple received ever.

What makes iPhone such a high demand product, why iPhone lovers are so loyal, why they always run after iPhone even after some reported System malfunctions and Antenna problems, even after Apple cancels confirmed pre-orders?

Is it USB, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, two built-in cameras, over 200,000 Apps to access, very high amount of storage or all of them that makes iPhone a complete smart phone? But on top of them the brand Apple is root cause of this loyalty.

iPhone’s stylish look has been always unique and Apple kept enhancing it in each version of iPhone. iPhone apps contains verity of apps starting from fun games to PDF documents readers. Some unique features like “Face Time” where you can talk and see your friends and family in video calling and switch between front and back cameras. Performance has never been a problem for iPhone, if you don’t know then just try opening up as many apps as you can in any iPhone and you can observe same performance in any condition. Video recording in adverse light conditions, editing videos, and it counts, the list is end less.

Marketing and Branding strategy of Apple has been best in class where they create the buzz in market that makes their fans crazy even before the product is lunched into the market.

Today Apple is established brand and all credit goes to iconic Steven P Jobs whose unique management, marketing, sales, operational and technical abilities brought Apple on top and that also helped iPhone to become such an amazing device to have.

I am not hardcore iPhone lover but no one can deny above facts that contributes to the success of iPhone. Today Apple holds verity of products like iPad, iPod, iMac, iOS and the countless list but The Steve Jobs and The Apple would be always followed for The iPhone.

I am sure iPhone legacy will continue and we will keep seeing this uniqueness, dominance and craze time after time. Today or anytime in near future i see no other brands capability or potential to touch heights of Apple and iPhone.
