Make a small and slow start with 10 minutes of very light workout like sit-ups and basic stretching and warming exercise. 15 minutes of walk every evening will be add-on to your weight loss efforts. Swimming and Yoga are two other fantastic activities that will give you magical results. But remember that all physical exercise should be started only after six weeks of vaginal birth and eight weeks of a c-section. Consult your doctor if you are not sure about your physical readiness for exercising.

Scheduled Activities

If you are not able to devote much time for exercising and If you are able to spare some time from your newborn, then start some regular activities like Yoga classes, Aerobics or any other form of physical activities. Make it as a part of your daily life so that you don’t need to think more about your weight loss efforts rather than sticking to one schedule.

Pelvic Floor Strengtheners

Another important part to strengthen is vagina. It will require some tightning after vaginal birth of your baby. A good way to do so is kegel crunches because you can do it anywhere. Just try to tighten muscles of vagina and try to stop your pee for two to three seconds. This will increase circulation to the pelvis and tightning the muscles.

Prepare balanced Diet Plan

Consult your doctor and check what food you will need to consume in a day for complete nutrition supply to your baby who will be still breastfeeding. Apart from that plan your diet with low fat and low calorie but highly nutritious foods containing high protein, vitamins, fibers and fatty acids. Check your diet plan with your doctor because here you are achieving two objectives, keeping your newborn healthy and losing your weight at the same time.

Go for a Walk

This is the only exercise in this world where you can keep your baby with you. Get a pram and carry your baby with you and go for a 15 to 20 min walk with your hubby, friends or relatives. This will add happiness to your mood, your baby too will enjoy this and you will increase blood circulation to your body and that will start burning extra fat from your body muscles.

Change Your Temperament

When it comes to eating, it should be a new you. You must avoid temptations if you want to get back your real body. Drink plenty of water every time throughout the day and make this habit and follow it rigorously. Don’t make any meal too heavy, rather take small meals in greater frequency. Also make sure that each meal is equally nutritious and low on calories. Also don’t make eating a habit and only eat when you are hungry. Never eat for taste, but only eat for your body and for your baby.
